If you're planning a yoga, wellness, or creative retreat and looking for the right kind of venue — one that's peaceful, practical, and makes your job easier — you're in the right place.
Here’s what retreat leaders usually ask us:
Can we stretch, breathe and practice comfortably?
Absolutely. You’ll have six acres of open space with flat lawns and quiet decks — ideal for yoga, breathwork, or movement in nature. There’s freedom to move at your own pace.
Will we have the place to ourselves?
Yes — all wellness retreat bookings include exclusive use of the entire property. That means no strangers, no awkward overlaps, just your group and the space to fully drop in.
What about food?
Cook together or bring your own chef — we’re flexible. The Homestead and Cabins all have full kitchens, BBQs, fridges and prep space. Just stock up before you arrive (we’re out in the country — the General Store is fine for emergencies but not big shops).
There’s also a herb garden and small orchard — perfect for teas, meals, or a citrusy refresh.
Is the property calm and immersed in nature?
It’s tucked along 450m of private creek and rainforest, with 3 natural waterholes, birdsong in the mornings, and starlit skies by night. Nature really does most of the work.
How many guests can we bring?
We sleep about 25 in beds, and can accommodate a few more with camping if you need it. There’s space to spread out, but it still feels connected.
Are there quiet spots for reflection or solo time?
Yes — think shady creekside rocks, private decks, hammock corners, and lawn pockets that feel like your own. Set up tea stations, journaling corners, or just let people wander and find their own pause.

Do you have a fire circle?
We do — and it’s magic. Use it for welcome night intentions, closing ceremonies, song, storytelling, cacao. Acoustic and low-key only — the atmosphere stays mindful.
Are there any rules?
A few, to keep it peaceful:
-
No loud or amplified music (acoustic and soft is lovely).
-
No party groups — this is a retreat space.
-
Respect the wildlife, land, and each other.
-
Leave no trace.
Is the property eco-friendly?
Yes — sustainability is part of the ethos here. We use rainwater, rely on solar power where possible, encourage composting and recycling, and avoid single-use plastics. The buildings are designed to blend with the natural landscape, and guests are encouraged to tread lightly during their stay.
Can I bring my dog?
If your dog is calm, therapeutic, or just your shadow — yes, we’re dog-friendly by arrangement. Just let us know ahead.
Are there any neighbours?
Yes — Bernie and his wife down the road, but they don’t have any view of the property. The rest live kilometres away in the hills. You’ll feel completely private, with no one watching and no interruptions.
